Propylene glycol ether and ethylene glycol ether are both binary alcohol ether solvents, and the toxicity of propylene glycol ether to human body is lower than that of ethylene glycol ether products, belonging to low toxicity ether. Propylene glycol methyl ether has a weak ether smell, but no strong pungent smell, making its use more extensive and safe.
